Old Dominion Freight Line’s Chief Financial Officer, Adam Satterfield, was named to Institutional Investor’s 2022 All-America Executive Team, ranking No. 3 in the transportation sector for “Best CFO.” Institutional Investor previously recognized Satterfield as a ranked leader on the 2018 and 2019 All-America Executive Teams.
Overall results are based on votes from over 3,400 portfolio managers, buy-side and sell-side analysts. Investors voted for companies and leaders based on superior performance attributes including timely and meticulous financial disclosure, response times to shareholders, credibility of senior investor relations executives, and overall market knowledge.

Satterfield has been with Old Dominion for 17 years, first joining as the manager of SEC reporting. Before assuming the role of CFO in 2016, Satterfield also held positions as director of finance and accounting and vice president, treasurer.
